Greek language course

Greece, as a country, is ripe with history. Many of the world’s ideas were created in Greece. It was a power house for early governments. Their ports were used to move from Africa to Europe. Greece was also home to many “thinkers.” Visiting Greece is an educational experience. To show your respect to the Greeks, learning their language is necessary. The Greek language is rewarding to those who learn it. There are several ways to learn the language. Study abroad, university, software, and audio courses are available.

Course Description:

A Greek language course will teach you to speak, read, and understand Greek when it is spoken. Study lessons are designed to proceed in a logical manner, with emphasis on travel needs. Vocabulary will be studied first, where you must learn how to say the word and how it is spelled. Once a vocabulary has been established, formations of sentences and whole conversations will be studied.
Topics regarding ordering food and beverages, businesses, current events, and how to express emotion will be studied. At the end of a Greek language course you should be able to hold a conversation with one or more individuals, write Greek, and read texts in Greek.

Course Duration:

Course duration is dependent on the style of course you take. A home study course is completed at your convenience. A university course is 10 weeks in length. Study abroad opportunities are either a few weeks or a semester long.

Courses include textbooks, audio CD’s or software programmes, depending on the type of class.
