Visual Basic is a programming language software which helps integrate within various user interfaces. The current software application is in its third generation and called Visual Basic Studio 6.0. The programme was designed by Microsoft. A course in Visual Basic software provides you with knowledge of the application in order to gain a position in IT.

Course Description:

The goal of the course in Visual Basic is to make you a skilled computer programmer. Before taking the course you will need a foundation regarding computer, computer operating systems, and computer language. The course will then build on your current knowledge to discuss how the software will help you programme a computer. Course content overviews application startup, connecting to a database, performing tasks, using the data and wizard tools, creating XML, and using SQL server features. The course also talks about the VB.net, variables, errors, and web development. Throughout the course a student will gain a basic knowledge of the software components in order to create a presentation regarding programming a computer. There are 41 units in the course with 6 assignments. At the end of the course there is an exam which must be taken online at a service centre.

Course Duration:

The course requires 240 study hours to be completed before taking the exam. A home study course can be completed after more than a year, as it works around your schedule. There are university courses set up for 10 weeks of study and learning. The course will provide a certification in Visual Basic.
