Unix

Unix is a computer operating system that was first developed in the 1970’s. Unix is still a popular operating system for computer professionals, especially those who like MAC. For IT professionals a course in Unix can be imperative.

Course Description:

A Unix Course includes a brief overview of the operating system before delving into the concepts of the programme. SunUnix is the most current project or Sun Solaris. A training course will provide the history of the software company and then teach you the latest techniques for that operating system. Operating system concepts, getting connected, logging in and out, operating commands, working with directories, working with files, I/O redirect, etc. are some of the topics in a Unix Course. Other lessons are about the text editor, shell scripting, programming, tools, and utilities. Unix does not require a degree or any prerequisites to take the course. You should still have a basic understanding of computers before signing up to learn about operating systems. Most Unix courses provide hands-on experience to walk you through the operating system. After course completion a student will be able to run the Unix operating system, solve problems, and perform other IT related tasks within the Unix programme.

Course Duration:

Course length is dependent on the style of course. A college course is 10 weeks with 8 hours of lab a day. In an online study course you are able to work at your own pace, but you still need the same amount of study hours in the course, with 8 hours of lab.
