MySQL courses are designed to give the student a foundation in database management using the application. The course you need to start with is the Introduction to MySQL before moving on to larger topics in administration and configuration. The topics in a MySQL course examine client server concepts, relational database, interfaces, data types, creating the database, selecting tables, grouping and sorting, subqueries, and algorithms to enhance the database.
The student will be able to start their own database project during a course to learn the different steps needed. At the end of the course the student should be able to show more than competent skills in operating the database creation software.
MySQL courses do not require prerequisites at the lower levels. You just need an understanding of IT. More advanced courses will require the lower level courses to be taken first.
